Shipping
We ship to Portugal under 3 different regimes:
- Next Day: For orders placed before 2pm, you will receive your parcel the following day. Orders placed after 2pm will be delivered in 36-48 hours;
- Same Day: Orders placed by 2pm will be delivered the same day in Lisbon and Cascais.
- Express 2 hour deliveries: Orders placed by 4pm will be delivered the same day in Lisbon.
We ship to the Azores and Madeira islands via CTT for €6. You will receive an e-mail with the tracking link so that you can follow your order as soon as it is dispatched.
We make international shipments to Europe and the rest of the world.
Shipments to Spain cost 6.5€ and you receive them the next day, for orders placed before 2pm.
Shipments to other European countries and the rest of the world are made with carriers, with a fee to be calculated at the end of the purchase, up to 10 working days.
For all these shipments, tracking links are generated where you can follow your order.
As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive an e-mail with confirmation of dispatch and a tracking link where you can follow your shipment.
Type is not responsible for any additional taxes and/or customs duties that may arise in the process of sending your order.
All orders are properly labelled, with invoices and important documentation for the shipping process, but we are not responsible for any additional fees that different countries outside the European Union may have.
We recommend that you find out about possible taxes in your country before placing an order.

Yes!
Someone else can pick up your order, as long as you have the pick-up confirmation e-mail and order number with you to show in the shop.
You will also be asked to leave your name to confirm who picked up the order and to keep a record of it.
The order confirmation e-mail is usually sent at the time of purchase. The dispatch notification e-mail is sent as soon as the parcel is ready to be collected by the courier.
If you have not received any or only one of the above emails, please check your spam folder or contact us directly at geral@type.pt to let us know the status of your order.
Exchanges and Returns
To make a return, you can send an email to geral@type.pt stating that you wish to return your order. You must include the order number (#xxxx), as well as the item you wish to return (in the case of an order with more than 1 item). You will receive a response within 24 hours with all the information necessary for the process.
You can also return your item in store, bringing along the order number and the item to be returned.
You have 15 working days to make any exchange or return, from the day your order is shipped or collected in store. Please confirm that your return request is within this period.

As long as you are accompanied by the purchase confirmation e-mail and order number, you can make your return.
You will receive an e-mail confirming that we have received the items in shop and explaining the entire refund process. This is processed using the same payment method.
This means that, for online orders, you don't need to have the relevant card with you.

If you want to make an exchange but don't know which item, need more time or want to wait for the new collection, Type offers voucher exchanges.
With any purchase, whether online or in a physical shop, you can always exchange the value of your purchase for a voucher, valid for 1 year.
This amount does not include shipping costs.

Your order is still available for collection from our shop.
However, you will not be able to exchange or return your order if you have been waiting for it to be collected for more than a month.

Apesar de a Type estar presente em ambos os centros El Corte Inglés, Lisboa e Gaia, este funcionam com um stock independente. Pode efetuar trocas e devoluções nos centros El Corte Inglés de compras efetuadas nos centros também.
Qualquer troca ou devolução de encomendas online (www.type.pt) ou compras na loja física (Rua Rodrigo da Fonseca, 204A) têm de ser processadas diretamente pela Type.

Yes! Type makes all its bikinis available to be purchased in separate parts, in the desired sizes (different or the same), so that your bikini adapts to you and not the other way around.

Type offers several bikini models in the same pattern so you can choose the design you like best in your preferred pattern/color.
To do this, simply choose the model you want from our mix&match products, available on the page of the collection you want. Choose the size and add to cart. You will find both pieces (or more!) at your checkout.
To ensure your Type garment lasts for many summers, we recommend following our washing process every time you use it.
Additionally, store it in an individual bag in a dry, clean drawer to better preserve it during cold, damp winters.
To wash your Type garment, we recommend:
- Rinse it with cold water and a simple, non-abrasive detergent (shower gel, for example), in order to only remove salt water and chlorine residues;
- Do not rub the garment. Since these are delicate lycras, to ensure they last longer and do not corrode the fabric, do not rub the garment, especially not with other scouring pads;
- Leave it to dry horizontally on a clothesline, without pegs and in the shade;

Type does not offer reservations for items prior to an order, as we are a brand with our own production and we want to guarantee the availability of items for all our customers.
If you wish to reserve an item, we suggest that you place an order for the item and choose the option to collect it in store. Then, you can try it on and see if it suits your needs. If not, you can exchange or return it immediately.
If you are exchanging a purchase that has already been made, by sending the item to Type, we will immediately reserve the chosen exchange item and wait for the original item to be sent. This reservation will be cancelled once the stipulated time for the exchange has passed.
